Cyclical

What started out as a blog telling the tales of living as a cyclist at University has now changed to a more general creative writing project with Cyclical.

My name is Francis and I am an English teacher working in a Secondary School in Cambridge. I had the great privilege and opportunity to undertake my teacher training at the University of Cambridge and unexpectedly loved the city and school I applied to so much that I couldn't help but stay here. I previously studied English and History at the University of York, where I began the first iteration of this blog.

In the past few years I have discovered that I really enjoy writing in my free time. Well, whatever free time I have left to play with! I am done with writing about cycling as a sport and a University-driven side of life, though. There's more to writing and creativity than that. And that's what I endeavour to showcase through Cyclical.
