Poem #15- Rebellion (a visual one!)

A creative cut-out word poem done for one of our last sessions on the PGCE English course. Written about the great American poet Langston Hughes, as I felt like this style of language and creative approach to poetry really correlated with his own. 12/06/24

1 man's got bars for days like a prison

Inducing egos, riddled black scorched h0les.

supermarket

1 squawking over empty ^ aisles scanning for an offer.

King of concrete, growl like a tiger before my rhymes.

Growl.

Tiger tongue unbroken. Regardless.

Then,

Besides...

One full of feat. A swept over slab. Turned, drenching education into the masses. Well, kind of.

I turned moth-brown eyes to mine. The words fell.

Stop.
